1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using our websites, courses, or downloads, you agree to these Terms of Use and all applicable laws. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our websites or purchasing our courses.
2. Who we are
House Sitting 101 and The House Sitting Collective (“we”, “us”, or “our”) are owned and operated in the United Kingdom.
We provide online educational content and house-sitting courses hosted on Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”), our secure online course platform.
3. Use of our websites and courses
You agree to use our websites and courses responsibly and only for lawful purposes.
You must not attempt to copy, share, or otherwise misuse any part of our content, interfere with the operation of our websites, or engage in any activity that could damage our reputation or restrict others from using our services.
4. Account responsibility
When you create an account on Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”) to access our courses, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity carried out under your account.
If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at hello@housesitting101.com.
5. Intellectual property
All content on our websites and within our courses, including text, images, videos, downloads, graphics, and design elements, is the intellectual property of House Sitting 101 and The House Sitting Collective, unless otherwise credited. This material is protected by UK and international copyright laws.
Unauthorised copying, distribution, sharing, or resale of our materials, whether in part or in full, is strictly prohibited. We actively monitor for misuse and will take appropriate action to protect our intellectual property, including removal requests and legal proceedings if necessary.
If you wish to request permission to reproduce or reference any of our content, please contact hello@housesitting101.com.
“House Sitting 101” is a registered trademark in the United Kingdom. Unauthorised use of this mark, or any confusingly similar name, is prohibited.
6. Course access and licensing
When you purchase a course, you are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the material for your own educational purposes only.
You do not acquire ownership of the content, and you may not share, distribute, or make the course or its materials available to any other person.
We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access without refund if unauthorised sharing, misuse, or any breach of these Terms is detected.
7. Payments and refunds
All payments are processed securely through Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”), Stripe, or PayPal.
Because our courses and digital products contain proprietary content and are made available immediately upon purchase, refunds are not available once access has been granted.
Please ensure you review all course information carefully before completing your purchase.
8. Affiliate program
We operate an affiliate programme through Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”), which allows approved partners to earn commission by promoting our courses.
Participation in the affiliate programme is voluntary and does not create any employment, agency, or partnership relationship with House Sitting 101 or The House Sitting Collective.
Affiliates must comply with our Affiliate Terms and Conditions and with all applicable advertising and disclosure laws, including the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and FTC guidelines for affiliate marketing.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an affiliate account at any time if we determine that these requirements have been breached.
9. Third-party links
Our websites may include links to third-party websites, services, or affiliate partners. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. We do not control or endorse the content, policies, or accuracy of any third-party sites and accept no responsibility for any loss or damage that may result from their use.
